Installing the solar system on this tile roof was more complicated and time-consuming than on asphalt shingle roofs. We counted on ABC Depot expertise, detailed engineering plans, and guidance on the right type of roof applications for the successful completion of this five-day installation. This project was unique because we combined roof mounting with a ballast-mounted solar system to accommodate the required number of panels for reducing electrical consumption in Pittsburgh.
